About a year ago I got my TV Services with Xfinity, I was amazed at the improvement Xfinity did with the tv boxes and the sleek new UI with Voice remote, they sent me the equipment and I installed the XG2v2-P tv box and 2 RNG boxes, I immediately noticed that the XG2v2-P was slow and late to respond, they had a tech come and he detected low cable signal and high signal noise, there were 2 filters installed at the outside box and there was still noise, the tech was able to fix it because the interference came from my end, The XG2v2-P still had the same issue, I can admit it SLIGHTLY improved.
Time passes and I get fed up with the Slow, unresponsive cable box, Whenever I would watch for a long time without any action it gets terribly worse and voice commands don't work until I click another button for it to wake up. I decide to go to my local Xfinity store and they upgraded all my 3 equipments, I complained about the box and the person swapped out the box for the same XG2v2-P TV box, this time the tv box had a blue light while the other one was a green light, I assumed it was an "updated" version, The first day it was responsive, somewhat would have a hiccup but not as the old XG2v2-P.
As the days pass, I am now having the same issue with this XG2v2-P tv box it's slightly better than the old one, but still has delays when I scroll through the guide or in preferences. Also lagging when I scroll through the guide. Please help. Thanks for reaching out to us here through our Forums support platform to discuss the responsiveness of your cable box. I am glad you like the x-1 platform with the voice remote as it is the best platform out there. However, if you are having slow responsiveness and lag wen using the equipment, we want to address that right away. Does resetting or rebooting your box help? Approximately how far from the box are you when you use the remote? Also, is it slow between navigating between OnDemand folders, back to guide live TV , or just when using the voice command option?
The issue is the same. Yes When I restart the box or do a system refresh it seems like the problem fixes for sometime and then the same issue comes again. Thank you for trying those self trouble shooting options on your end. Yeah, that's aggravating that you are having those issues. Because it's just the one box, and not the others, I would like to run some tests on it. Could you please send me a peer to peer chat with your full name and address? Friday, July 16th, PM. I don't xfinity xg2v2-p manual to hook it up if it's not xfinitt DVR. Help please! When I first switched to X1 from legacy, xg2v22-p xfinity xg2v2-p manual hooked it up as a DVR and I got hours of cloud посмотреть больше and was able to record 5 shows at once.
My parents get only 20 hours of cloud DVR recording and can record only 2 shows at once. You can program recordings and watch them on a phone or a tablet, but that does not make a phone or tablet a DVR as the term is used in cable TV service. A Mamual must be able to store programs. The XG2 cannot do that. Devices that schedule and play back recordings are DVRs only if they are capable of storing recordings. I don't have that slow piece of junk box anymore, but techs, and some employees at Comcast stores are passing them xfinity xg2v2-p manual as DVR's, while other employees at /10498.txt aren't. Just depends on who you ask.
